WOW que rico This bakery's pastries/pan dulce is SO good. My husband and I scarfed it down before we could take photos of them. We had the elote muffin, bolillo, and a quesadilla. They have quality and deliciousness I have yet to find one like it since I was a little girl going to our local bakery. They don't make them like this anymore. 10/10 recommend, make sure you bring CASH. They are cash only. Luckily we had enough to pay

Arrived a few minutes before closing and was helped as if they just opened. Did not rushed me and answered my questions politely. It is a small shop in the middle of a shopping center. Only to go-no tables/chairs to eat in. First time here but definitely not last. Since I came late, they were out of almost everything except for the cookies and Rosca de Reyes. The Rosca de reyes was not on my list but since they were out of conchas, I opted to get one. So glad I did, the rosca was warm, moist and delicious. One thing though is that they do not take cards ONLY cash so come prepared. I had to go to the liquor store next door to use the ATM as they do not offer cash back.
A coworker recommended this bakery and I could not be happier I tried it! Everything is fresh and DELICIOUS! If you have a chance, visit this amazing family-owned & run bakery!! The daughter at the front is super friendly and knows the products inside and out. Get the elote muffins. Thank me later!

Rainy day, craving Pan Dulce. Specifically, concha's. Drive out to No Ho and there it is La Mejor Bakery. Located in a tiny strip mall. This place legit, had all the classics. They were sold out of the chocolate and pink concha's. Service was excellent, showcases were clean and had absolutely the freshest pan Dulce. Only thing missing was Chocolate Abuelita or some hot Champurrado. This is the spot right here.
I've been going to La Mejor for about a year now. I usually pop in for a few pieces of pan frances and pan dulce and take off. Recently, I read their yelp review and noticed several people said positive things about the tres leches cake. Being a curious person and my birthday coming up I decided to give it a try. It was really good. Bonus points: it was very reasonably priced at $22 for a cake that could easily feed 5-10 people. I've had a LOT of tres leches cakes in my life and I thought this was one of the better ones for sure. I highly recommend it.
